Challenge Projects are the trade mark of UTC Cambridge. A tremendous amount of time and effort by staff, sponsors and employers has gone into developing these ground breaking and unique educational experiences. UTC Cambridge is a centre of innovation with a commitment to provide the regions Biomedical and CleanTech industries with superbly trained scientists and technologists directly or through higher education.
Students engage in each Challenge Project between 10 and 20 hours per week for six to eight weeks. Challenge Projects are cross curricular in nature and engender innovation and enterprise while upskilling students in the latest scientific and computer technology.
