Director of Student Care

Salary: £45,000

The Director of Student Care at UTC Cambridge will ensure that every student has timely individualised support, guidance and intervention to realise his/her personal, academic and career aspirations. You will facilitate and encourage a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, which provides students with stretching academic, technical and work based learning opportunities and individual career guidance. You will devise quality assurance processes that are used efficiently and effectively throughout UTC Cambridge and comply with the expectations of parents, the governing body, OFSTED and other monitoring bodies. Head of House

Salary: £38,000 - £41,000

You will work with tutors to provide every student with timely individualised support, guidance and intervention to realise his/her personal, academic and career aspirations. The Heads of House will manage the tutor groups within their house and oversee the case management of student progress. You will monitor and, when necessary, improve student attendance, behaviour and compliance with dress code using appropriate sanctions and meaningful rewards. You will model, mentor and monitor world of work expectations, organise tutor interview cycles, and establish a portfolio system to guide students to successful completion of the Duke of York award. Head of Career Progression (including Work based Learning, UCAS, FE/HE/Apprenticeships and Transition to work)

Salary: £38,000 - £41,000

The overall purpose of the Head of Career Progression is to ensure that all students successfully transition to higher education, an apprenticeship or work upon leaving UTC Cambridge with the skills they need to enjoy a productive career and life long learning. You will be instrumental in building sustainable relationships with local and national employers and universities. You will develop a work based learning programme that provides every student with a broad exposure to scientific, health, engineering and technical work sites along with an extended work experience each year at a work site closely matched to his/her career aspirations. You will build a comprehensive FE, HE, apprenticeship and job resource centre to advice and secure students appropriate transition opportunities. You will track all student transition outcomes and provide reports to SLT, governing body, BDT, CAP and other authorised agencies as required. Salary: £25,000 - £37,000 Pro rata for part time (Full time with ability to teach second subject)

We are looking for a specialist in physical education who believes in promoting health and wellbeing to mixed ability students. The candidate will be responsible for providing PE/Games for Years 10 - 13 and extra curricular activities to inspire a life long passion for sport.
