Applications to the UTC Cambridge are now open - a great opportunity for young scientists aged 14 - 19.

During Year 9 (age 13-14) young people across the country make choices about their curriculum (GCSE and BTEC options) in Key Stage 4 (age 14-16). These choices shape their future educational direction and their career options in later life. If a young person is passionate about science there is now another option: transfer to UTC Cambridge in September 2015.

This is an important step for a young person and her/his family. Staff at UTC Cambridge will ensure that everyone involved has all the information necessary to make an informed decision. UTC Cambridge students continue with a solid core of GCSEs delivered alongside exciting challenge projects, which bring the theory to life. Click here to see the full Key Stage 4 (14-16) qualification framework.

At 16 you will be able to continue at UTC Cambridge to study A levels or BTECs (125 place are reserved for students progressing internally), or you will be able to apply to another post-16 provider, undertake an apprenticeship or join the workforce.

PLEASE NOTE:
Guidance for the reimbursement of travel costs, if required, for Year 10 students is available here. A bus is provided free of charge to all UTC Cambridge students from the central bus and train stations to the college and back.
