TEACHING ASSISTANT
Start Date: 1st September 2017
Salary: £15,923 (£18,000 pro rata)
Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for Teaching Assistants with exceptional skills to join our team. As a vital part of our team you will play a key role in the development of UTC Cambridge.

The Receptionist provides front-line services to students and families. The role is a wide-ranging one that includes dealing with students’ queries, liaising with parent, administering school attendance and providing other administrative support.

  • To provide a professional and customer friendly reception service for UTCC, being the first point of contact, both over the telephone and in the reception area. Ensure all visitors are cleared in accordance with strict safeguarding checks and processes. The person appointed must be able to work under pressure in this demanding and varied post.
  • To assist with a variety of administrative tasks which support the efficient running of the college.

STUDENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Start Date: 16th August 2017
Salary:£15,923 (£18,000 pro rata)
Hours of Work: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 40 Weeks per year
Contract: Permanent

The Student Services Team provides front-line services to students and families. The role is a wide-ranging one that includes dealing with students’ queries, liaising with parent, administering school attendance and providing other administrative support.

  • To provide a professional and customer friendly service for UTCC, being the first point of contact, both over the telephone and in the student services area. The person appointed must be able to work under pressure in this demanding and varied post.
  • To assist with a variety of administrative tasks which support the efficient running of the college.
  • Commitment to the UTCC vision and values.

Working with the Head of Student Progress & Head of Pastoral Care, you will provide pastoral support to students and families, also delivering administrative support across a range of tasks, which allow teaching staff to maximise their capacity to deliver the curriculum. Working with staff, families, students and third party agencies, you will support the well-being of all students ensuring the achievement of learning potential.

TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE (with Maths)

Start Date: September 2017
Salary: £25,000 - £37, 000 pro rata, per annum
Hours of work: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

 

The Teacher of Computer Science (with Maths) at UTC Cambridge will be a driving influence in a subject that is central to our curriculum and ethos. We are looking for a person who is innovative, thinks outside the box and wants to carry computer science beyond the confines of traditional specifications. You will need a sound knowledge in your specialist area and be driven to achieve successful outcomes. It is a post that will require vision, commitment and the consistent role modelling of best practices for both staff and students. It is a tremendously exciting post and one that will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to shape our curriculum and link external qualifications into Challenge Projects, working in a state of the art environment.
