Teacher quality is proven to be the single most important feature of successful education systems and at UTCC we invest time and effort into getting the staffing structures right, recruiting the right people and ensuring that they are continually supported, in order to improve. We believe that we have talented and inspirational staff who encourage students to reach their potential.
The five members of the Senior Leadership team at UTCC play a vital role in the of shaping the curriculum, developing the college and ensuring its continued status as a centre of excellence. They work alongside The Principal, sharing the responsibilities for all aspects of school management and are responsible for implementing the strategic plans agreed by The Governing Body. In addition, they take an overview of teaching and learning within the college.
UTCC has attracted a stellar cast to its governing body which comprises individuals with exceptional educational, business and political track records. They recognise the need for innovation in education can see the opportunity to help the current young generation excel, retaining their enthusiasm and confidence as they move from education to employment.
The Governors are responsible for the finances and management of the UTC, setting its strategic priorities and overseeing its performance.
